Fauxionable Outfit – What to Wear Where: Arts Night Out

I enjoy I Pick Pretty and Forever 29‘s What to Wear Where editions and I was a little upset with myself for not being able to partake in the Travel Outfit and the Date Night edition. I had taken pics for the Travel Outfit edition but forgot my laptop at home the night before I left for New York, as I stayed over at G’s since his apartment is closer to the airport. He was very sweet to return to my room to pick up my laptop but comically, he couldn’t find it as he was looking for it in the wrong bag! (no, I don’t have THAT many bags!)

Anyway, I’m back to blogging with an outfit for this week’s Arts Night Out edition hosted by Pancakes & Beet Juice. Here’s an outfit I’d wear to an Arts Night Out, be it to the art gallery, museum or theater…

I originally thought about pairing the outfit with my Cole Haan Violet Air Oxford booties here but decided to go with the tall boots instead for a more casual look. What do you think? Booties or tall boots?

I love this outfit! The quilting on the bag, statement necklace and subtle print on the dress are so artistic worn all together without being busy. I am so glad you linked up this week!

I love the combo of black & white, soft & hard! This is a great look! I think I would have looooved the booties with it, but the tall boots are also fab! I tend to lean towards over-dressing, though, so that explains that! That necklace is amazing, BTW!

Great look! You can’t go wrong with the ever classic black and white. The proportions are just perfect for your figure! And of course I love your bag and necklace!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a kind comment on our post! xoxo

Thank you, M! I didn’t even think of the resemblance to the Hermes Jumping Boots, thanks for pointing that out. I just have an affinity with equestrian boots!
